We (family of 8) have been to this place (hotel) during our Northeast tour (Sikkim & Darjeeling) in the 2nd week of December, 2021. The Hotel is ideally located just 1 k.m. from the famous M.G. Marg. There is a local taxi stand just few meters of walking distance. Wine shop, grocery shops is 10 feet away.

The hospitality we have received is just superb. I need to specially mention the owner of the hotel, Saikat Da. He is a gem of a person with a smile in his face always and ready to help the tourists beyond his capacity. His manager Biplab again is a young chap but has a flair for customer support inbuilt. All the other support staff are also equally cordial & helpful.

The room’s are clean, cozy & superb with all the major amenities available similar to a 5 start hotel. Lift facility is also available to access all the floors. Each floor has a separate smoking zone (Publicly smoking is NOT allowed in Sikkim) in the corridor with excellent view of the snowy clad mountains.

We also thoroughly enjoyed the food (buffet) served in all those 3 days. There are Veg, Non-Veg options with plenty of varieties and options.

All in all it was really a very nice experience staying at The Royal Heritage Hotel and given a choice i would again like to stay at the same place over and above any other high priced hotel of similar category.

Absolutely recommended folks! Go for this hotel and i am sure you won’t be disappointed.
