We have visited this property in November. We had stayed 3Nights in this hotel. We are delighted and had very nice experience during our stay in The Royal Heritage, Gangtok.
Our tour operator have provided us superior rooms with breakfast.

The rooms are well decorated, The rooms are nice and specious, we have stayed on room 202,203 for 2Nights and 302,303 for 1 night. On Nov 2-4 and Nov 6-7 2021.

The complimentary breakfast was good and adequate and of different variety on each day. We ordered dinners also, overall foods were fresh and adequately rich and balanced (not too oily/ hot/spicy ).

The bathroom is well lit, specious and have premium bath fittings with huge geyser, bathtub, and most off the facilities a 3 star hotel can offer.

Hotel room service is also very good and courteous.Hotel staff is also very friendly and hotel owner is also a nice person and very friendly.

There may be plenty of options available beside MG Marg, but this property is very near to MG Marg, it’s on the development area near pushpa garage. One can get taxi to Mg Marg for 20INR/PH and high availability of taxi just at the doorstep of the hotel(wait for 2mins). According to me I’d prefer taxi rather than walking 700m steep but that’s my preference.

2-3 stationary shop, some small resturants and an FL Off shop is just beside the hotel.

Issues faced:

1. On our last day the geyser was not turned on and after telling the room service it was turned on, it was taking too much time to heat the water hence had to take cool shower as we were in a hurry and was near checkout time.

Overall it’s a very good hotel would recommend my friends and family to stay 8n this hotel.
